Bagatelle has once again been very fortunate to link with another local charity, Able2Sail, which is based at Kip Marina. This summer, a number of residents, staff and family members thoroughly enjoyed their sailing trips and the hospitality provided by Able2Sail.
This organisation provides older people and a host of other groups with the opportunity to go sailing in their specially adapted yacht. Further sailings are scheduled for the summer but are obviously weather dependent. The weather is the one thing we have no control over but we hope to have more enjoyable sailing days at a future date.
You will see from the photographs below that a wonderful time was had by all. Some residents were brave enough to take charge of the wheel!
